Mentally Strong Athletes WIN More Games

White House Athletics teaches the athletic population how to use mental skills to overcome challenges they may face during competition.

Maybe its nerves, scared of making a mistake or perhaps unable to handle the pressure of competition. Whatever the reason is there is SOMETHING holding back your body from performing.

Why does the body “freeze” when it matters most?

Even with an athlete’s physical preparation, their mind was not ready to handle the challenge met during competition.

This leads to a lot of frustration.

But what happens to those same athletes and teams after they learned mental skills as part of their overall training?

They learned to manage the emotions of anxiety, fear and pressure through various mental skills exercises overcome their challenge(s). This allowed their mind to stop getting in the way of their performance.

When an athlete can manage their emotions with mental skills during competition it ultimately leads to a more satisfied performance.
