The White House Athletics Difference
Sport Psychologist | Athletic Trainer | Strength & Conditioning Specialist
With White House Athletics I get to live out my passion of helping athletes win both mentally and physically.
My career began as a certified athletic trainer (ATC) and over the course of the past six years, I have transitioned into the role of a licensed sport psychologist.
Helping an athlete win both physically and mentally is my passion.
As a certified mental performance consultant (CMPC) and a licensed as a psychologist, I am equipped to help all levels of athletes. This includes one on one, team or coaching sessions.
Many of my athletes have positive results when mental skill training was included in the rehabilitation of their injuries. That motivated me to continue my learning of this field and pursue a PhD in psychology.
Sport is physical, but the mind controls the body. Sport psychology is the connection and final link between the hours an athlete spends in the weight room, on the field and studying film.
This concept is why a sport psychologist is so important for athletes, coaches and teams looking to have a greater satisfaction in their performance.
My Athletic Experience Includes:
- University of Vanderbilt (current sport psychologist)
- University of Memphis (Post-Doctoral Program)
- Virginia Tech University (Doctoral Internship)
- University of Missouri (Doctoral Studies)
- University of Michigan (Athletic Trainer)
